| TTB approval is 6-8 weeks and printers need 1-2 weeks to turn around the job. We charge a $1300 flat fee per wine label with a week turn around for comps.
This fee includes:
* 3 different comps (either 3 different concepts, or 3 takes on the same concept/idea, preference provided by client)
* 3 sets of revisions once a comp is narrowed down
* Prepping files to send in for COLA
* prep & send files to the printer
* proof files at printer
The price does not include:
* soliciting quotes from printers
* COLA application process or checking on COLA status / COLA costs
* additional comps additional comps are charged at my hourly rate of $75.
* purchasing bar codes (these run about $80 each )
The ABOVE services are additional and charged at my hourly rate.
We charge $75 an hour for layout for any additional work with a label, ie. marketing materials, shelf talkers, brochures, end cap designs, helping solicit and/or prep files for promotional materials (hats/t's/napkins etc...).

Small Production Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot NoirA few days ago I received a couple of samples of 2008 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands from a small, passionate producer of hand-made wines. Last night I tasted this wine and was quite impressed. The color is deep and dark, with a lot of density for a pinot noir. Aromas of black cherries, cranberries and a bit of sous-bois on the nose. On the palate the wine is mouth-filling, with juicy fruits balanced by acidity and tea tannins, and a long, smooth finish.
